GFAI continues to build on the long history of collaboration between various state and federal governmental regulatory agencies including OSHA, EPA, the Illinois General Assembly and the United States Congress.
You are the best voice for the industry. Only you can provide specific information about how legislation will impact your business. Work to engage with your elected officials on an ongoing basis. If you hear of legislation introduced in the Illinois General Assembly or the United States Congress which you believe will impact the industry, please contact the association office. In addition to engaging in issue advocacy, the Association has a Legislative Council for Better Government Political Action Committee (PAC), which is funded by GFAI member contributions. These funds are used to support candidates and those in political office in Illinois whose goals best exemplify the purposes of the Council. |
