In addition to engaging in issue advocacy, the Association has a Legislative Council for Better Government Political Action Committee (PAC), which is funded by GFAI member contributions. These funds are used to support candidates and those in political office in Illinois whose goals best exemplify the purposes of the Council.

Legislators must know the key people in their community. Ask your legislators to speak at your company’s annual meeting, customer appreciation dinner or tour your facility to inform both staff and legislators about our issues. Arrange for media coverage and photographs of the visit.
