Background
The Safety•Health•Environmental Services program is a consulting and
educational program that was specifically designed for the members of the
Grain and Feed Association of Illinois. It was started by the Association to
assist members with information and compliance regarding OSHA, EPA and other
safety, health and environmental regulations.
Plans
Available to You
There are two plans which members may select to enroll in.
1.) Basic Plan:
Annual on-site safety meeting for employees. Consulting with the member
regarding compliance with safety, health and environmental regulations.
Member receives regulatory update bulletins. Member receives a safety
manual. Annual fee is $685.00 based on one on-site visit per year.
3.) Group Plan:
The group plan is designed for elevators who do not want on-site visits and
are flexible and able to meet with other elevators in the area. The Safety•Health•Environmental Services Director
will set a date and select a place for the meeting that best fits
everyone’s schedules. A portion of the meeting will be consulting with the
managers. The other portion, at a different time slot, will be for
employee safety meetings. Member also will receive the regulatory UPDATE
bulletins along with a safety manual. The annual fee is $375.00.

UPDATE Bulletins
All members in the program will receive UPDATE, the regulatory bulletin.
UPDATE will keep members informed, between visits, regarding changes in
rules and regulations of IEPA, EPA, and OSHA.
Safety Manual
All members in the program will receive a safety manual. This 3-ring
binder is full of guidelines, forms, policys, regulations and standards
for you to utilize. As you receive your UPDATE bulletins, there is even a
place for those so you won’t lose a single one. This manual was designed
for the members of the program to help organize all of the heavy paperwork
and forms needed to be in compliance with the regulations today. The
manual will soon also be available on computer disk to organize and
personalize the manual.

Those who are not members of the Grain and Feed Association of Illinois,
must first apply for membership through this form:
