around the state of Illinois. The golf outings have been a huge success over
the past several years. Open to members and non-members of the association,
the outings provide and interesting median for business to be conducted for
the industry.
Held at various beautiful, intriguing and challenging courses, the outings
are scheduled for at midday shotgun start or tee times. Throughout the
courses various competitions like; longest drive, longest put and the
occasional 10,000 Hole-In-One shot that has not yet been claimed. Once the
golfing is concluded everyone meets at the clubhouse for delicious meal that
is included in the registration cost. At the conclusion of the meal, prizes
are handed out and brief update on industry news is presented.
All of the proceeds from the golf outings go towards the GFAI Scholarship
